Who we are

While the Webber name has been associated with the tire industry in Jacksonville for 60 years, the Webber family, along with a diverse group of local business professionals, have come together to solve the ever growing scrap tire problem. In January of 2019, Webber Recycling was established. In September of 2019, Webber Recycling received the Waste Tire Processing Permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Our mission is to provide innovative, dependable scrap tire recycling services to obliviate tire stockpiling and illegal dumping. Working with our customers, we help create a cleaner, safer environment for us, and our future generations.

What we do

Centrally located in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, Webber Recycling is THE PROCESSOR of scrap tires for northeast Florida. We shred tires, research and improve the process, and we dispose of the end-product responsibly. Our double shaft shredder can shred tires up to 47 inches in diameter, and at a speed of 400 tires per hour. Complete with input and output conveyors, a sensor based tire press, and an automatic mister, the highly automated machine can be operated by one person .We pick up tires too. Or make arrangements for one of our trailers to be delivered on site and call us when it's full. We will swap it out with an empty so you're covered all the time. No room for a trailer? Call us and we will build a solution with you.

We are locally owned and operated. We listen. And we strive to perform seamlessly behind the scene, so you can focus on growing your business. Leave your scrap tires to us. Each tire we process eliminates an unsightly scene at a minimum, and rids of the habitat for disease carrying pests such as rodents and mosquitoes. Did you know that each tire can be the breeding ground for THOUSANDS of mosquitoes? Hefty penalties come with illegal dumping. It is a third degree felony.  In Florida, a third degree felony is punishable by up to five years in prison, five years probation, and a $5,000 fine. See Florida Statue 403.413 here
